    Discover Colour Trends 2022

Just like many things in life, interior design has trends that come and go. This year is no different, and we are already starting to learn what are the paint trends and colour trends for 2022.

Are you looking for inspiration on how to decorate your home? Want to learn more about what to do to have a stylish home to be proud of? Why not take a look at what we believe will be some of the key paint colours to have in your home during 2022?

    Uplifting Blues

Your home should be a place where you feel at your best, which means that you should choose a colour that will make you feel happy and uplifted. Blues are an excellent choice for this as not only do they look great and go with a variety of other colours, but they are also going to make you feel incredible too.

    Calming Greens

You might not think of green as a calming colour, but it can actually have a real positive impact on how you feel. You just need to choose the right shade of green. You want to choose subtle, chalky greens rather than those that are bright and in your face, as they will really bring in a more neutral tone to your home.

    Sophisticated Pink

Pink isn’t always a colour that makes you think of sophistication, but it looks like the right shade of pink will be big in 2022. In order to have a more grown-up feel to it, you want to stick to subtle pink shades rather than those that are bright and remind you of bubble gum.

Go Brighter even with your Neutrals

Whilst neutral shades will still be a popular choice of paint for many people, the actual tones of those neutral colours look likely to change. Greys and crisp whites are out, and instead, they are replaced with yellows and warmer sandy whites.

These paint colours allow you to have still a neutral base with which you can then work more colours, but they are much warmer and more inviting than the cooler shades.

    Be Brave with Brown

You might not think that brown is a colour you will want to introduce into your home, but it has definitely seen a boost in the style stakes. You want to steer towards more earthy shades of brown as these can be combined with other neutral tones to finish your room perfectly.

Hopefully, these trends have given you enough inspiration to think about what you would like to do with your home to transform it. Better yet, think about what paint colours you like to use in your home then you could find yourself creating your very own colour trend for 2022.
